Indian minister wants academic council chief to quit after his children fail class 12th exams!!!

Jharkhand's HRD minister Baijnath Ram has demanded the removal of Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) chairperson Laxmi Singh from her post. Interestingly, the move comes after his children failed in the class XII board examination.

Ram said he made the demand to Chief Minister Arjun Munda when he met the latter a few days back in connection with the recent problems in matriculation and intermediate results.

"This is not the first time I have asked the CM to remove Singh. There has not been a single examination conducted by the JAC when questions have not been raised. Problems are created by the JAC and people question me for the irregularities," he added.

Many link Ram's anger against JAC chief to his son and daughter flunking the examination for the second consecutive year. While his son scored 23 each in English and economics, falling short of the pass marks by 10 in the two subjects, the minister's daughter fared much better overall, except English, in which she could score only 22 marks.
