Despite ongoing investigation by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission of privacy issues raised by several groups, a survey by Gallup Poll and USA Today of 2,000 Facebook users found that for the majority, privacy is not a major concern.
The study showed that only 26 percent of Facebook members who use the world’s largest social networking site daily had privacy issues compared with 35 percent who use Facebook at least once a week.
Facebook, which has 800 million members and had logged a trillion hits, is currently testing new features such as the Timeline and Open Graph that digitally map members’ entire online lives and automatically share notices about websites visited and content accessed. Full story...
