Singapore invests $1 Million to promote use of Tamil languange...


The Ministry of Education (MOE) will be providing up to $1 million to the Tamil Language Learning Promotion Committee (TLLPC) over the next 5 years to promote the learning and use of the Tamil Language.

TLLPC plans to enhance ICT-based learning for students by organising touch-typing workshops, E-Story competition for upper secondary and junior college students as well as developing pod-cast and vod-cast resources to support the learning of oracy skills.

This comprises a grant of $500,000 and 1:1 matching for funds raised by the community, subject to a cap of $500,000. More...

Tamil apps is the best tool for teach tamil letters and learn tamil language which is available in i phone , i pad also. It helps to learn in an easy method. Tamil language is an offical language for indian territory countries which has a legal status in other countries also.
