Sudan's "trouser" journalist guilty but escapes flogging...

A Sudanese woman has been found guilty of indecency for wearing trousers in public, but will be spared the lash.

But defiant journalist Lubna Hussein has refused to pay the £130 fine, meaning she is facing a month in jail, her lawyer told CNN.

She attracted worldwide attention with the trial after she refused to plead guilty and stepped down from her UN job in order to allow the case to go to court. More...
